UBP Politics Academy started its first semester activities in order to inform and raise awareness of party members. After the opening speeches, the first lecture was given by UBP Honorary President Derviş Eroğlu, who served as UBP President for 24 years, Prime Minister for nearly 19 years and President for 5 years.
The National Unity Party (UBP) Politics Academy started its first semester work today in order to inform and raise awareness of party members.
The activities of the UBP Politics Academy started at the Near East University (NEU) Grand Library Hall 4 with the opening speeches of the Academy Coordinator UBP Parliamentary Group Deputy Chairman, Nicosia District President Ahmet Savaşan, UBP Secretary General Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu and UBP President and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel.
After the opening speeches, the first lecture was given by UBP Honorary President Derviş Eroğlu, who served as UBP President for 24 years, Prime Minister for nearly 19 years and President for 5 years between 1983-2005 and 2008-2010, on “National Unity Party from Yesterday to Today”.
On April 27, when the program will end, all participants will receive certificates at a ceremony to be attended by President Ersin Tatar and UBP President and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel.
President Ersin Tatar will give a lecture on “The Vision of a Two-State Solution” at the ceremony to be held on April 27th.
